BLACK BARN

This might be one of the most unique custom steel buildings Nunno Corporation has ever completed. It is roughly 2,200 square feet with an extreme 9:12 pitch and has all black sheeting. The client wanted to match his custom home, which has an exterior wood cladding that has been burnt to give a black and charred look. The wall sheeting is a FW-120 panel and it was able to match the client’s vision perfectly. This metal sheeting gives it a flat, sleek and eye-catching look. Located in Los Osos, California.
KOPACK
Dimensions: 60’ x 50’ x 16’
This custom barn residence project takes advantage of the economy of pre-engineered metal building design in a unique way. The traditional raised center aisle architecture pays homage to the historic hay barns of years past. The residence is a complete 2-bedroom, 3-bath home with a bonus hybrid living room area that doubles as a boat barn for this lakeside getaway.
The roof is a very watertight, concealed fastener, 4-inch insulated metal panel that provides R-30 insulating value with a clean, reflective white interior surface. The exterior uses a Corten weathering steel that gives the barn a turn-of-the-century charm. The interior walls are metal-stud framed to resist mold and finished in conventional 5/8-inch drywall. The entire package makes for a stylish, economical and durable build.
WICKERSHAM
Dimensions: 30’ x 50’ x 16’
This custom steel building is located in Atascadero, California. The metal sheeting used is Corten weathering steel. It features 24-inch overhangs with a corrugated soffit panel, a large 12’x 14’ roll up door in the front for RV access and a smaller 10’x 10’ on the side access to the shop area. This client decided to utilize casement windows toward the top of the wall line to allow natural light into the steel shop.
CONWAY

This custom utility barn project takes the idea of a personal project space to a whole new level. The traditional, raised-center aisle architecture pays homage to the historic hay barns of years past.
The exterior uses a Corten weathering steel that gives the barn a turn-of-the-century charm. The interior walls are 26 ga. galvalume PBD with a second steel liner panel that protects the structure and exterior panels from damage with a durable yet inexpensive to replace sacrificial surface. Use of glass sectional doors and horizontal, sliding barn doors make the look complete. In addition, office and bathroom elements make the space functional for a variety of uses.
