ABOUT US

Founded in 1976 by Louis “Lou” Nunno, Nunno Corporation has been family owned and operated for over 45 years. Originally, the business model was entirely dedicated to steel aircraft hangars but as the years went on, Lou discovered the adaptability and practical use of steel in other forms. In the late 1980s Lou’s son, Michael Nunno, and son-in-law, Alan Lewis, took over running Nunno Corporation and ushered in a truly diverse portfolio of metal building projects. More recently, Lou’s two grandsons, John and Matt Lewis, have been involved in the company and will be the third generation to take the reins of Nunno Corporation one day. 

From building a small steel shop to a large commercial steel building or an aircraft hangar development project, Nunno Corporation has years of experience and expertise. We are the leading steel building manufacturer, ornamental fabrication and steel supplier on the Central Coast of California.  

Our system is perfect for a wide range of projects, from general aviation hangars to wineries, farm and ranch to commercial or industrial buildings. All are pre-engineered building systems produced to meet the strict standards of the American Welding Society (AWS), American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC), International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), and California Building Code (CBC).
